Welcome To McIntyre Stables

At McIntyre Stables, we believe quality horses and instruction are the foundation of riding- whether you are just learning to ride or are showing at the National level.

McIntyre Stables is situated in the heart of Batavia, nestled on 20 acres of horse lovers’ paradise. Our facility features a heated viewing room overlooking the indoor arena, heated wash stall, four tack rooms, and spacious stalls for all lesson horses and boarders. Outdoor amenities include a large sand ring, a grand prix field, and plenty of turnout paddocks for the horses.

At McIntyre’s, riders will find exciting opportunities year-round. Our knowledgeable Staff offers both group and private lessons for all riders and experience levels. Beginners will start in private lessons to establish the basics in a safe, comfortable setting, while riders with some experience will usually be placed in a group of eight or less. Group lessons allow riders to learn from each other and make new friends in a fun setting. Advanced riders may have the option to join our working student program, gaining additional guidance to enhance their skills.

Horsemanship and Riding Camps at McIntyre Stables educate riders on everything from anatomy to course design, and are offered in the summer and at select times during the year. Students participating in the public riding lessons will enjoy competing in our in-house schooling shows offered twice a year, and riders with their own horse can compete year round on the “A” Circuit.

We encourage anyone interested in learning more about McIntyre Stables to stop by for a tour. Our courteous, professional Staff will gladly answer questions, schedule lessons, and introduce you to our wonderful horses.
